I'd like to introduce you all to Aenne
It's pretty great how this whole computer/blog world can connect people. Why there are blog friends out there...and you know who you are, that I feel like I've known forever!
Well, awhile ago my dear friend Joy " The Vintage Rabbit" ran into a mutual friend of ours from years ago! We all worked together.
Our friend Aenne is a master gardener, crafter, gives classes, just to name a few of her many talents.
She has a website www.the thrifty garden.com
You can access her blog from there.
I'm so happy we all re-conected...it's truely a very small world!

The 1st Roseville Antique Market!!
We had the greatest Antique market here in Roseville sunday before last...my favorite girle Sandy and Erika the owners of The Tattered House were the masterminds behind this wonderful event!
Linda Carpenter from la Maison Rustique brought her cute little trailor filled with vintage goodies, Edgar and Edgar were there as well!
So much talent...and I wanted to buy it ALL!!!

Went to see my Mom!!
About a week ago I joined my brother and his family in Tulsa Oklahoma to visit my Mom...I was a secret! She was so happy to see us all !!
It wasn't a long visit, but we made the most of our time together .
I hadn't been there before, so this was a new experience for me... Thank goodness my brother was the driver! I got so turned around, I'd probably still be there going in circles!!
The thing that I love the most about traveling is the "jewels" you discover. We went to the most beauitiful park I've ever seen!!
The city was a blend of really dramatic new and romantic old...
I had some of the best breakfasts ever... The Cracker Barrel is a must! I'm still full!!
The main focus of the trip was to see family, and that was a good thing.

The Windy City !!
My husband and I just got back from a last minute trip to Chicago ... what fun !!
Partly the last minute-ness and the fun that city had to offer !!
For a shopper like myself, all I have to say it made me tingle!! The stores !! Oh my !!
The skyline was truely beauitiful, and I can say from our experience the food is GOOD !!
I've had a few pizzas in my day, but true Chicago deep-dish is not for the faint of heart !!
We can't wait to go back...
